New or Pre-owned? What might be the best for me?

Building or buying a new yacht is an exciting commitment.  If you are considering this option, you should have a very clear idea of what you want and what you plan to do with your new vessel.  While this is true in any event, there are many sales reps who will tell you just what you want to hear. Research and multiple opinions are advisable and we, at B.O.A.T.ex Ltd., have both un-biased clarity and experience in all aspects of yacht ownership.

A pre-owned vessel has been tested and tried already and its strengths and weaknesses will have been made evident. In many cases, improvements have already been made by the original owners.  There is an endless assortment of vessels on the market. As brokers who are ourselves, yacht owners and experienced seamen, we can guide your research in the direction you want to go and not lead you astray simply to make a sale.
