Notes

This boat has energy efficient systems and practical installations. She has been regularly improved and updated. Beautifully kept!

New teak deck in 2004 and painted areas with Awlgrip in 2005. The Teak deck is 12mm thick and a first class installation.

12mm and 10mm stainless steel rigging changed half in 2004 and the rest in 2006. Top of the line hardware everywhere and custom made stainless steel details accent the deck.

The hull has been treated to prevent osmosis by coating it with 2 coats of West epoxy every 10 years. This was last done in 2005 when the bottom paints were all removed down to the fiberglass, hull checked and aproved osmosis-free, coated with 2 new coats of West epoxy and primed and painted with Awlgrip topsides and antifouling below.

There is a good 200sqm sail area. Both main and mizzen are secured into Lazy Jacks. An extra 170sq mtr Genaker with sock ads to the inventory. This is a strong sail for up to 25knots. Big self tailing Lewmar winches in the cockpit and on the mast and front deck and a big 3 speed coffee-grinder on the aft deck.

3 anchors and 90m stainless steel 12mm chain are managed with a 2004 Lofran 1500 electric windlass with foot control and 2 remotes.

Sunbrella covers for all areas of the deck

Layout

Sleeps 11 in 4 cabins. 2 heads.

Center cockpit nice and large with a swivel seat for steering, cockpit cushions and cusioned roll all around. The cockpit has 2 hatches to the interior. The forward hatch enters directly to the well appointed Navigation station to starboard, aft of which is the galley and passage astern. Forward is a passageway leading to a double cabin with en-suite head and shower to port, a second double cabin forward of that, a head and shower to starboard, forward of which is a large storage and a V-berth cabin with upper lower beds for 3. The wood walls and interior are in excellent condition and and decorated with lovely paintings of classic tallships and old age sailing yachts and are adorned with the many honoring plaques and coats of arms from the many nations she has visited. Brand new halogen lights throughout, lots of windows with snap-to covers, completely water-proof molded fiberglass storages, and technically smart and easy to maintain plumbing and electrical installation.

The galley is practical with many storages, ample storages and counter space with an extra fold-down chopping block workspace. 3 burner inox gimballed stove with oven. Large double inox sinks with manual salt water sprayer, electric pressurized sweet water faucet and a second double filtered drinking water faucet. Handy vac mounted on the wall. Lots of spice racks. etc.

The frig and freezer are nicely made in wood just to port as you enter aft into the saloon.

The saloon is roomy and inviting with a counter space and entertainment center by the forward bulkhead, a big dining table with an extendable leaf, real camel colored leather upholstery with yellow terry cloth covers. There is a bar below the table. Lots of storages below and behind the sofa. Center astern, behind the small square cushion is a secret entrance to an aft cabin with 2 single beds. This mini cabin is great for children and has its own hatch to the deck. The saloon entrance to the cockpit is forward on the port side. Next to this, formerly a head is now a great little work room with tools, spares and the water maker.
